Keeping Each Other Safe During COVID-19

This can be a scary and difficult time for all of us right now. Know that we have made some changes so that everyone can feel safe in the salon. The safety of our stylists and clients is our number one priority. We want to be cautious so we don't spread the virus through our great community.

Please read below to learn about how we can keep each other safe at the salon:

salon Operational changes

These are changes we have made in the salon to ensure the protection of our stylists and clients:
  • We will limit the capacity inside the salon to 25 percent with at least 6 feet of distance between clients.
  • The back garden will be available for clients who want more distancing (weather permitting).
  • All stylists will wear a face mask and shield at all times.
  • All stylists will wash their hands before and after each client.
  • Each station, chair and tools will be cleaned and disinfected after each client.
  • Each client will receive a newly washed cape.
  • Salon hours have changed to allow for only two stylists working at a time.
  • Clients will no longer receive hair washes and blow dries (except for colors and permanent services).
  • We are temporarily not servicing facial waxing and bead trims.
  • Gloves and hand sanitizer will be available for clients. Masks are available for those who forget theirs.
  • The waiting area will be not be available for sitting.
  • We have improved our air flow and fresh air with an upgraded air filter and air exchanger.
  • Drinks, popcorn, and magazines will no longer be provided.
  • We now accept contactless payment via Venmo and Paypal. We will continue to accept cash, check and credit cards.

guidelines & precautions for clients

 Please read carefully. We are asking all clients to follow these guidelines and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause:
  • Please check your health and temperature the day before your appointment. If you have any symptoms, please stay home.
  • Please stay home if you have traveled in the last 14 days.
  • Please wash your hair on the day of your appointment before coming to the salon.
  • When you arrive for your appointment, please text your stylist you have arrived and wait outside (or in your car). Your stylist will let you know when she is ready for you to enter.
  • ​Please wear a face mask when entering the salon and wash your hands after entering. 
  • Please come alone.  An exception will be made for children (over 3 years old) who have an appointment. Children also must wear masks.
